Still weirds us out we’re in a history book... finding this in a music theatre history book is the equivalent of finding weird Roman orgy illustrations in a normal history book. #australianmusicaltheatre #australianmusicals #theaustralianmusicalfromthebeginning #aussiemusic #newmusicals #historybooks

15 MONTHS LATER

15 MONTHS LATER

Happy 1st Birthday to Three in the Bed! This time last year TITB opened at the late King Street Theatre for just 2 weekends of sellout shows. Little did we know that we would be moving up the road to New Theatre just a few months later for a month long run! What a ride, thank you to everyone who’s joined us in bed this past year! Come back anytime 😉
FUN FACT: This photo was taken at our last dress rehearsal, the night before opening night. And as you can see, the sofa bed just couldn’t take it. You can imagine how ridiculous this made a lot of the action! So the morning of opening, a last minute IKEA run was made. And that bed last us all the way til closing night of our second season, where it almost didn’t even open out (much to the horror of the actors)! But it pulled through, thank goodness. It’s always the bed that suffers.
