Jonathon Holmes

Writer, Director & Co-Producer

www.jonathonholmes.com.au

Jonathon Holmes is a songwriter, actor or pianist (whichever way the wind blows) from Sydney, Australia. His musical farce 'Three In The Bed' premiered at King Street Theatre in September 2017 to sellout shows, reviewers hailing it "terrific fun: cheeky, sexy, laugh out loud... full of heart" and "a success". It returns to New Theatre in January 2018. Jonathon also released his new single 'Pretentious' last year; and his debut EP 'Plutonese' of quirky piano-pop produced by Matt Fell was released in 2014. You might recognise him as the guy with emojis on his face in his 2016 jazz beat-poem 'Get Your Hands (Off Your F***ing Phone)'. His theatre roles include Berger in 'Hair' (Exclaim); Hewson/Downer in 'Keating!' (Birdie); Tobias in 'Sweeney Todd' (AIM) and director of 'The Fantasticks' (Exclaim). He is the pianist of 'Mickey's Jazz Club', re-interpreting Disney songs (because he's still five in his head). He holds a Bachelor of Music (Music Theatre) from the Australian Institute of Music.

In real life, Jonathon speaks in first person.

Natalya Aynsley

Music Director

Starting her music education at the humble age of five in her native Estonia, this Russian-Ukranian-Estonian happened to win the musical talent gene lottery, although Natalya’s passion for music surprisingly didn’t come from the strict regime of piano practice and frequent beatings from her teachers. The sky was the limit. Actually, at the time it was the low ceiling of her family’s shared communist flat. Fast forward a few years, Natalya obtained her LmusA in 2005 and since then got a nice framed Advanced Diploma of Fashion Design to hang on her wall. You can usually find her in various orchestra pits or setting the mood at corporate events around Sydney. In her spare time, Natalya enjoys developing her archery skills, writing music, taking on too many creative projects and nurturing her ever growing YouTube channel Natalya Plays Piano.
